Swarm Removal

BANV has members who are available to capture and remove honeybee swarms or colonies that are in a place where they should not be.

Please email us at beekeepersnova+swarmalert@gmail.com with the following information about the swarm/colony so that the proper person with the proper equipment can be contacted.

1.      What is the exact location?

2.      What is the name and number of the person to contact?

3.       Are you sure they are honeybees?

4.      How long have they been there?

5.      How large is the swarm?

6.      How high above the ground are they?

The member who contacts you will assess the situation and figure out how best to help collect the swarm.
